well i had moved to idaho with my brother, and he was the one that pierced it for me. things went south and i ended up going back home, and my parents didn't really say anything cuz I was 18 when I got it. Plus I think they were kinda used to me doing things like that cuz as soon as I turned 18 I came home with a tat. Lol

Oh yeah that's definitely normal. Just be sure to rinse with mouth wash a lot and you'll be fine. Sea salt works really well too. And you can take ibuprofen to help with the swelling.
