Hi I'm Ali, a Recovery e-Coach and one of the founders of Bulimia Help.
As your coach I will hold you accountable to recovery and help you work through obstacles that are holding you back. I will provide strategies and challenges to help you focus and find direction.
Recovery should be viewed as a learning experience; it is an adventure into you to find out more about your body and food behaviors. I can guide you and help you reach your goals.
I believe every person has the ability to recover, no matter how long they have been bulimic, how ingrained they think their bulimia is and no matter how many attempts were made to stop it in the past. I believe you can do it!
Most people with bulimia have one thing in common: taking the first step is difficult.

This burden you have should not be allowed to continue any longer.
In this writing I attempt to find some of the reasons behind my thought process in hopes to break the cycle. Maybe it will inspire you to do the same.

Desperation
Self induced gagging on a false reality

Fractured innocence
A healthier frame of mind
Now molding to mimic society's portrayal of beauty
A twisted view of myself
Contorting behind my eyes
Dizzy
From failed attempts at sanity
Dying to be thin
Wanting to carve away the imperfections
Slice through into my solace
& bleed out
My insecurities

Don't think in terms of "days" i.e "today is a bad day", think in terms of hours. This way, you'll be less likely to binge all day if you slip up in the morning.
