If you focus on all the things you're not, you miss out on all the things you already are.
Do you want people to remember you for the shape of your body or the shape of your character and soul?
Don't think in terms of "days" i.e "today is a bad day", think in terms of hours. This way, you'll be less likely to binge all day if you slip up in the morning.
It's difficult to be yourself in a world that constantly tells you how you should be.
There is no such thing as failure, only feedback.
Forgive yourself for any binges. Its NOT your fault, its NOT your fault, its NOT your fault. Its a natural reaction to restrictive eating and it takes time to get your body back in balance.
Focus on life rather than food.
You binged. No problem, recovery takes time. This is normal. This is to be expected. Continue to work on structured eating and your body awareness.
Vomiting up all the contents in your stomach is not getting rid of all the calories, research shows that you can actually retain around 1,200 per binge session.
When you have all-or nothing (black and white) thoughts e.g. ‘I’m a complete failure’ – note your negative thought, consider the evidence for and against it and find alternative more positive thoughts.
It is in everyone’s interest that you make resuming normal eating habits your first priority.
Don't fake it! Too much time and energy is wasted try to hide our negative self image from the world. If you felt totally safe, felt no fear, and no one was watching, who would you be? Is this the true you?
Particularly distressful events can lead to a lapse and you may binge but you must realize that there were extenuating circumstances and not despair and give up.
Try to break things up into a manageable size and proceed in steps concentrating on your achievements rather than what you have been unable to do.
